The situation of the Palestinian people has become dire. The suppression of any people, be it a host Nation or it’s neighbours creates a natural response of rebellion against the oppression, and the system that imposes it. When we believe that this is government, despite these directives opposing the very humanity that the governments are sworn to uphold, the calculated response is rebellion against the host governing body. This in turn opens narratives justifying government response against the apparent rebellion, allowing a full harnessing of National resources against the oppressed people.
While the Israeli resource has been set to wage war against a named terrorist arm, it would seem in modern times a strategy of cooperative intelligence with the Palestinians would answer the call required, both strengthening diplomatic relations and abiding our world central laws of humanity. However, all out War has befallen both the Nation and the people of Palestine. While it is easy to point a finger and blame Israel for this injustice, thus inflaming further retaliation and warfare, it would be wise to note the increase of suppression against the Israeli people that has been justified then made law by the implementation of religious decrees that serve against the very free will that god and the law of life and equality has granted us all.
Much of Palestine and its facilities of humanity have been devastated and destroyed. Reports indicate at least half, or around one hundred and seventy five thousand buildings in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed in 4 months of raids and bombing. Much farmland has been devastated with entire crops and orchards destroyed raising concerns of famine, with unexploded ordinance making it difficult or dangerous to return.
Calls from within the United States of America to review channels of funding have been called forth due to concerns that current avenues and streams of support maybe fueling an activity that is so strongly opposing the world systems of humanity, and the ideals of America itself.
Approximately 1.7 million people, 80% of the population have been displaced, with many, over a million fleeing to a supposed safe zone in Rafah that has now also been placed under siege with reports of 2110 casualties after 290 drone strikes with further ground offensives reportedly planned. Concerns have been raised by Amnesty International after finding evidence of unlawful military attacks. And the International Court of Justice has stated that the risk of genocide is both real and imminent, with aid being restricted. Over 28000 Palestinians have been killed with a further 67000 injured, over 70% being women, children and elderly. Further concerns have been raised of IDF flouting international law as targets have been destroyed that unquestionably hold no military significance. An earlier report had stated that 70% of homes, or approximately 300000 of 439000 homes had been destroyed with 29000 bombs having targeted civilian areas also destroying around 200 heritage and archaeological sites. It is considered the most destructive bombardment of modern history. A considerable number of educational facilities, places of worship, health facilities, ambulances, industrial facilities and media offices have been damaged or destroyed. The people of Palestine have raised their voice stating we don’t want this war and bloodshed here, or there. What of the people of Israel ?
