The U.S has vetoed Palestine’s request for membership with the United Nations. Beyond the initial outrage for such a decision, let’s review this in light of an old system that is designed to break and favour perpetual war and imbalance. Somewhat like Ukraine’s denied request to join NATO, there is present conflict, and deep occupation within Palestine. Both situations possible to infest, and leverage in expanding disruption and warfare, with seeds already been sown and polarised through media and political channels.
Many Nations have stood, and stepped forward in support of Palestine. A land that has suffered many decades of oppressive rule and indoctrination against its people. A reoccurring phenomenon through out world history with often near free passage to initiate and sustain. A repeating dynamic commonly dismissed as the woes of mankind as a whole without much further investigation, as most are presumed as sinners. In doing so offering a platform of false superior over rule to gather, congregate and direct from, while escaping accountability through a combined voice of mutual justification and support whipping humanity down. While this volume may manifest a smoke screen and confusion enough to pass unscathed through social and legal process, the breaches against humanity and international law are quite defined. In continued defence, the discussion is polarised, somewhat like a corrupt criminal continuing to declare false innocence with surrounding support working to effectively bastardise democracy.
There are protests world wide of the inhumane occupation and warfare against this land and its people, with gross breaches of international law recorded.
So what reason do old channels of funding and weapons supply continue ?
It isn’t as simple as to expect one at the helm to wave a sceptre or magic wand and declare the shipments cease. In a fanciful sense, yes, this would seem apparent and what we demand. But it requires legal process for a reason.
“Wave you sceptre” the people declare . But this would forge a passage that others could employ and travel through that may not align in humane purpose, with social volume of support easily generated. eg “Well 46 did so how’s it any different” .
We already have locked senates blocking and eroding support of humane condition, with channels becoming fortified by manipulated volumes, and the logic of oppression infiltrated deep into our world governments.
It’s all well and good to demand that one at the helm wave the sceptre. But humanity is an expanse. The passages forged could easily be usurped and fortified. There is much that can be done in support of Palestine, or any other Country suffering oppressive rule. No badge is required, but legal process is.
It’s one thing to demand a ceasefire that is well overdue in a war that never should have been. But in doing so, laying the pathways for future dictators is a concern easily overlooked.
